CourtListener and the Free Law Project — the same open corpus used by courts, journalists and researchers. Opinions sync within days of publication.
Does the AI ever invent a case?
No. Every citation in an answer is checked against the database first. If a case cannot be verified, it is removed from the answer and the answer says so.
Are state courts covered?
Federal courts are the default. State coverage is expanding — ask the AI and it will state plainly what exists for the jurisdiction you need.
